Order confirmation

Confirmation of your order will be forwarded to you in the form of a receipt to acknowledge your agreed upon purchase. For all custom orders, orders will be considered confirmed once we have received a 50% deposit. This document will overrule any prior correspondence made with Kariko, whether it is verbal, drawn, written etc. If any discrepancies are noted once receiving your order confirmation, please contact Kariko at orders@kariko.com.au to be rectified. Written notification is required to confirm any changes to your order. Verbal notification will not suffice.

Payment

For orders made via our website or in store, will require payment in full. Custom orders, regardless of the item, will require a 50% deposit. For clarification on a custom order, see “Custom Orders” heading below. Once we have received payment, we will acknowledge that your order has been received and will be placed into the production queue. The date on the order will match the date that we have received payment. The outstanding balance of your order (if applicable) will be paid prior to commencement and before the order is due to be shipped. Your order will not be sent out for delivery till payment has been received. If you are unable to collect or receive your order due to holidays, personal reasons etc, you are still required to pay your final invoice.

Lead time

General lead time is 6-8 weeks. Your order will be placed in our production queue once payment has been received confirming your order. Any changes to your order may result in an altered lead time. Once your order is confirmed and in the production queue, you will be provided with a more specific completion date. If for whatever reason you are unable to take your order near our proposed dates, please notify us 2 weeks prior to delivery for scheduling. Our lead times only reflect manufacturing lead times and does not include shipping times. We endeavour to complete your order in the above time frame, however during our busier times, including leading up to Christmas, this lead time may extend to 10 weeks. Delays do not constitute a breach in our T&C’s as they are dependent on conditions that are sometimes out of our control (such as, the availability of raw materials, availability of hardware etc) Kariko will not be liable for these disruptions.

Changes to order

As each Kariko piece is handcrafted to the specific size and finishes you have selected, changes may be limited. This will depend on the progression of your order through production, which will be communicated once we are notified of your request.

Any requested changes must be provided in writing and sent to orders@kariko.com.au. Variations agreed to by Kariko will incur additional costs dependent on its stage in production.

Cancelling an order

Given the nature of our service, we are unable to accept an exchange or refund for orders that have been delivered. If you wish to cancel an order that is currently in our production queue, depending on the stage of production, Kariko may not be able to refund you the total of your order. This will be due to sourced materials and supplies. If you wish to cancel an order that is ready to be shipped to you, the full amount of the order will be retained, and no refund will be provided.

To reduce waste, components from your cancelled order will be recycled and reused for existing and future orders.

Cancellations of orders must be submitted in writing to orders@kariko.com.au

Shipping

At Kariko, we work with our customers to try and provide the best delivery options to suit there needs. Our delivery service is based on front door and ground floor basis and will take place between normal business hours Monday-Friday 9am-5pm.

When you order is in its final stages of manufacturing, we will be in contact with you to confirm all delivery details. For all custom orders, it will be at this stage that you will receive an invoice with the outstanding balance.

Delivery cost is calculated based on a 30km radius from our production facility at 16 Westside Drive Laverton North.

Click here to see if your postcode is within 30km from our production facility.

If there has been a change to your delivery address since placing the order, a requote of the delivery cost may be required depending on the location and access.

If you are located outside of this radius your order may be sent via third party freight. If your postcode is not listed as being within 30km of our production facility, you will be charged a minimum delivery fee of $150. As the cost associated with shipping with third party freight companies varies, what you are charged at checkout is the minimum cost. Once this is paid and your order is within its final stages, we will source the freight company to deliver your goods. Once this has been confirmed with them, we will be in contact with you to discuss the remaining balance of your freight charge. This outstanding balance is the difference between what you had paid upon checkout and what the freight company has quoted us for delivery.

We always aim to provide accurate delivery information to our customers, but please be advised that we use third party freight, which we have no control over. Any delivery delay due to third party freight is not the responsibility of Kariko.

Kariko reserves the right to revise freight costs shown on invoice if there was a freight cost increase by our third-party freight companies.

Pick up from Kariko showroom in Laverton North is also an option. We are NOT responsible for any damage incurred to your new furniture during transportation arranged by our customers via their own means (vans, trailers, roof racks etc) If you would like to collect your order, please contact us prior to placing an order.

Return Policy

As all of our bathroom vanities and shaving cabinets are made to order, no returns are accepted. Returns can be made on basins and tapware if in sealed packaging in original condition, unused and uninstalled.
